I’ve known legendary photographer Richard Avery for the better part of a decade. The mastermind behind Juliland.com, “Dick” (as the kids call him) taught me a ton about photography when I was getting started. His work is amazing and he’s always been one of my closest friends in the business. Back in my modeling days, he always took the best pictures of me (evidence in this post).
So when Dick asked me to join him for a chat on his Fotoboy podcast, of course I said yes! To hear me talk about the origins of iheartgirls.com, photography in general, shooting celebrities and working with models, listen to my podcast with Richard Avery. Far out you are beautiful Cherie! You do such fantastic work on both sides of the camera!
I agree; Richard has done some awesome work when he’s photographed you… though it wouldn’t require much effort to make you look amazing (sorry Dick) haha
Still think you look best with raven hair though
I agree with Mr. Bond!
I think Cherie should step in front of the camera and do a shoot for iheartgirls!
Aww, you guys flatter me too much! I’m too old and far less worthy than all of the lovelies here. I’d stick out like an old, sore thumb I’m afraid! I’m looking for a fountain which is supposed to take care of that problem though!
Ohhh I bet you’re just like a fine wine Cherie – you just keep getting better and better with age!
Hahaha, we’ll see.
: brokenheart : You know you wanna tease us Cherie : wacky :
Hahaha!
Well I messed up the emotes
Awww, thank you Mr Bond! I appreciate the encouragement, but I have to insist that the photo only looks good because of the photographer. He’s a pro!
And luckily, my hair is still dark, although I have contemplated breaking out the bleach time and again. Don’t worry, instinct always gets the best of me so I haven’t been tempted enough to take the plunge back into Blondsville.
Haha spoken like a true professional model; incredibly modest
I’m so glad you’re been keeping your locks dark. Blondes are gorgeous, but there is something so mysterious (and sexy) about women with dark hair
I would ask what your natural hair colour is… but I figured that’s probably like asking a woman how old she is – it’s considered rude! haha
Hahaha… I do try my best but sometimes my ego gets the best of me.
I do love blondes but I prefer dark hair most of the time. You are right, there’s some kind of mystery.
My natural hair color is pretty close to what color it is now. It’s like a dark chestnut brown. I feel like my real color is a bit on the dull side so I still dye it to tone it a bit. But thanks for being a gentleman.
