Tianna Gregory is an international phenomenon. Her popularity has skyrocketed worldwide, and it’s pretty easy to see why. So it was no surprise that the Swiss magazine RKSTR approached us about collaborating on a cover featuring Tianna. Of course, our response was a resounding “Yes!”
Since the Swiss seasons are pretty dreary in March, we wanted to give their readers (and ours, too) something to look forward to… summer! We went for all the classic summer stuff: lemonade, grilling out, popsicles and watermelon. It’s a virtual picnic starring Tianna, AKA the best picnic in human history.
The shoot was so much fun. In addition to a lot of food wrangling hi jinks (getting the mustard just right on that hot dog was a challenge!), it was awesome to pick the looks. I love color and really relished the opportunity to make it pop. And then, of course, there was Tianna, the ultimate summer goddess. She made these photos really come to life, and I love how these came out. Hopefully these photos make your winter a bit warmer!

Aah it’s just to brighten up where I live, I’m ready for some sunshine. I love the Summer theme with the ice lolly and lemonade etc. That hotdog is as perfect as Tianna!
Yes, I am happy to hear this set is making everyone’s winter a little sunnier! Although Tianna doesn’t eat hot dogs, she sure knows how to sell ’em. I haven’t eaten a hot dog in a long time myself, and when we were shooting this, I was tempted to pop one into the microwave really quick!
Ah well that doesn’t surprise me so much I suppose since to have a body like hers she’d have to be pretty serious about her diet.
Yes, she is definitely serious about her diet and exercise regimen. Wish I had that kind of dedication!

I don’t think there has ever been a single shoot you have done that I haven’t liked, and this is just another I simply love! You make my favourites things (girls!) look even more incredible then they already are!
I’m an Aussie so we get summery weather a lot through out the whole year… but sometimes I just wish we got snow! haha

I hope to visit Australia someday! I would mostly love to be able to pet baby wallabies and koalas, haha… but the beaches look amazing and there’s just so much to see and do there. Hopefully I’ll be able to make it out in the next couple of years! Is there anywhere in Australia that snows? I didn’t see snow until I was 12 or 13 so we’re likely in the same boat.

Yes, please do come to Australia sometime! There are plenty of beautiful gals here you can photograph, and Australia can NEVER have too many beautiful photographers!
I live out in the country on a farm so there is always plenty of wildlife to see, including wallabies, koalas (thank you for not calling them ‘koala bears’ haha) and of course roos.
There are actually a few places it snows in Australia, the appropriately named ‘Snowy Mountains’ region being one of them, and we do have a few actual snow resorts as well (unfortunately I’ve never been to any of them)
Yes, I am following a lot of Aussie beauties and I’d LOVE to shoot some of the models out there. So many gorgeous girls, so little time!
Ahhh, you live on a farm? Sounds so lovely! Are there just koalas out in the wild there? I can’t even imagine looking out my window and seeing a cute little guy hanging in a tree! Haha
I had no idea about snowy regions in Australia, but maybe you’ll find time some year to visit! I’ve heard that it’s difficult to drive across Australia because the middle region is pretty isolated (I don’t know how true that is!) so is it somewhere you’d have to fly to?

I miss barbecues! Growing up in Nor Cal, barbecues are the norm during the summer and even early fall. Here in LA, I have to bust out my grill myself to get some BBQ chicken Haha so of course, this set is very nostalgic of my barbecuing roots.
Yeah summertime is the only chance my family gets to barbecue i just love eating carne asada fresh from the grill just tastes better.
Mmmmm carne asada. I am so hungry!
