Shooting with Shay is always (pun alert) sweet, but this set is something special. I found this awesome ice cream cone one piece and have been dying to shoot it, and Shay is absolutely perfect for this look. Her hair is still hanging on to a highlight of lavender, which I love. We discussed future colors throughout the shoot, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
But this shoot, this look, is one one of my favorite I’ve ever done with Shay. Things are so natural and easy with Shay that these shots look effortless. We were having a lot of fun on set and I think a little of that spark is captured here, too.
Love the hair and makeup by superstar Janelle Faretra, love the strawberry shortcake bar (how fast did we all eat one after the shoot finished?), and love, love, love the finished result. Kinda makes you hungry for ice cream, yes?

There are some really good pictures from this shoot! I bet it was a rush to get as many pics in a possible before the ice cream was gone.
Luckily the strawberry shortcake bars don’t melt as fast as a regular ice cream cones do so we didn’t have to rush too much but Shay was very into the ice cream and got to the end of it fairly quickly.
