Ryan Keely isn’t a fake nerd. She’s got actual, real life nerd cred. For one, she is a correspondent for TheRealStanLee.com. She plays Magic: The Gathering unashamedly, wields a lightsaber with aplomb, supports indie comics and reads Haruki Murakami.
So it comes as no surprise that she knows how to wear a Jedi robe. Or mermaid tights. Or really anything, because she’s so damned awesome. For this shoot, we teamed up with Castle Corsetry, who provided all kinds of amazing stuff: the Star Wars comic corset and aforementioned Jedi robe, mermaid tights, and that wonderful Black Swan-ish dress that rounds out this set. The amazing Lauren (founder of Castle Corsetry) helped to style the looks.
The night was a ton of fun. I mean, any time a laser sword comes out, you know it’s going to be a party. Extra fun fact: Ryan’s mom was in attendance. We know she’s cool because she got all the references.

She looks good in all of them i seriously cant pick a favorite.
I liked the mermaid pants because you get to see her perfect shape almost as is; 6 and 7 being my favs. The last one with the black dress is cool though because it looks a bit like she’s surrounded by an inky black mist at first glance.
