Hi Gabe,
My photography arsenal is pretty extensive. A lot of my equipment never sees the light of day (I am a consumer junkie), so I’ll just tell you the basics.
Cameras: Nikon D200 is my main camera, Nikon D7000 is for video, and I use my iphone 4 and a Leica D-Lux 4 for candids
Lighting and modifiers: 2 Dynalite RoadMax 1000ws series kits, Nikon Speedlight SB-800, Alien Bees ABR 800 ringflash, medium and small softboxes, grids, reflectors, and foamcore
Lenses: Nikkor 18-70mm, Nikkor 24-70mm, Nikkor 35mm, Nikkor 50mm
I have a TON of other lenses, lighting, modifiers, cameras, etc but these are the pieces of equipment that go into making the images on the site. I will tell you, mostly, I use my D200 with my 18-70mm, one of the Dynalite lights, and maybe some foamcore for most of the shots. Simple and sweet.
As for post, I only use Adobe Photoshop CS5 for retouching and Adobe Bridge for organizing and sorting images. I try to shoot things as close to how I want them to look in the end, to minimize retouching. Then it’s just a matter of minor adjusting (color-correcting, curves, retouching blemishes.) I like the girls to look “human”, so I err on the side of less is more. The photos are in a pretty high resolution, so as you can see (when viewed full screen), you can still see skin texture, pores, hair, etc on the models. Generally, my removal rule is: pimples, bruises, scars, and embarrassing tattoos (only at the model’s request).

Thank you for the compliments, I am ecstatic that you love the site. I’ve put a lot of thought and effort into it, and I hope that others enjoy the site as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it. There’s been a great response so far, and I hope to continue to grow the site with time.
As for Tanit, we’d love to welcome her as an addition to the roster of IHG models. She’s been a very busy bee, so hopefully she will have some free time in the near future to shoot for us.

Thanks for compliments, and happy to see we’ve satisfied your Babeology craving. I loved working on Babeology all of those years, but I love having something I can call my very own now!
As for Ryan, I definitely plan on having her back on the site soon. We only shot the one set (we shot others for her personal site the same day as well), but we are trying to set up another ASAP. Add our instagram @iheartgirlsdotcom to see who we are shooting with before the sets go up.

Yes, there is a way to receive e-mail notifications immediately after an update goes live. On the right sidebar of any page on the site, you will see a box that reads, “Subscribe to Blog Posts Via Email”. If you input your email address and hit “Subscribe”, you will receive all kinds of IHG goodness in your inbox. Soon, we will also be sending out our official newsletter, which will include such goodies as bonus images, giveaways, behind-the-scenes, and secrets of the universe!
