The beauty of working with someone as gorgeous and talented as Shay Maria a bunch of times is that you’re able to immediately click when it’s time to shoot. Case in point: this shoot. Shay lives relatively close, so every once in a while, we set up a lightning-fast shoot. This was one of those and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
I hadn’t shot Shay backlit prior to this, and I’m so happy we made it happen this time. She is absolutely beautiful in the glow. I wanted these to look really dreamy and sun-kissed, and I love this lingerie–she brought it from her personal collection and it went perfectly.
Not everyone can show up and make magic happen in 15 minutes, but as you can see from the photos below, Shay is not just anyone.
