We started IHG as a place for girl appreciators to congregate, and in our never-ending effort to promote the glory of girls, today we’re doing something brand new. From time to time, we will be asking artists from all different mediums to collaborate with us, combining forces to create new and amazing pieces.
To kick things off, we asked our buddy (and fellow girl-lover) Jim Mahfood to lend his distinctive style to a pair of Star Wars-themed pieces starring card-carrying girl/model extraordinaire Shay Maria.
We’ve always loved Jim’s take on girls: fun, sexy, playful… and bad-ass. Check out more about Jim right here, and watch the video below (directed and edited by the amazing Willie T of Goodtimes Media) to see a behind-the-scenes look at the collaboration.
Who better to pair Jim with than Shay? We love her awesome style, goofy energy and, well, her beauty. She’s gorgeous. Add Black Milk’s unbelievable R2-D2 one-piece, and you have Star Wars perfection. As always, it was virtually impossible to narrow her set down, because every frame was packed full of awesome. Check out the galactic mash-up of talents below, and may the Force be with you always.
Yah
I can’t tell if you’re joking or not by the look on your face in the picture where you’re doing the Star Trek symbol.
You can’t? Lol… I think it’s clear she’s making a joke about doing the live long and prosper gesture while dressed in a Star Wars outfit. Plus, Cherie already said that in the comments!
His artwork is very cool and thanks to that swimsuit I will see Shay whenever I see R2.
Fortunately, I think I can probably say the same thing about R2.
Very nice! Shay is incredibly hot, to say the least. Amazing body! Great artwork, too! Brilliant, all of it. Kudos.
Love the screen name!
Thank you, glad you liked the set!
I have got to know the name of that song for the shoot?
The song is called ‘True Romance’ by Stoner Showers
Not really a fan of the wars but I am a fan of art and sexy women
Not a fan of Star Wars?! Blasphemy!
Glad I could get 2 out of 3 for you though.
Incredible photos and collaboration! I don't think I've ever been more proud to be a Star Wars fan. Jim is such an amazing artist .Ha ha, she even did the Vulcan hand sign! That's awesome!
Shay is beautiful and she doesn't take her self too seriously, you know, she knows how to have fun. And the fact she is a nerd, makes her that much hotter, if that's even possible.
This update is sure to cure the Monday blues. I'm looking forward to more of these amazing collaborations! And we even got to see a little bit of you at work, Cherie! Very cool stuff.
Thank you Geoff! Jim is quite talented, and incredibly creative, couldn’t agree more. The thing about the Vulcan hand sign thing is that we all thought people would get the irony but reading comments on other sites who’ve featured this set, I guess not many people get it. People actually think she thinks Star Wars and Star Trek are the same thing. Ugh. The internet makes me fear for the future of humanity.
Shay is one of the craziest (good crazy) and funniest models I’ve ever shot. She’s really fun-loving, and just willing to do anything to get the shot. She’s awesome!
Glad I could help make your Monday less… Monday-like. I’m hoping to roll a lot more of these out in the future! I love seeing my work next to such amazing artistry!
Wow, great photo's. Jim has some amazing skill and talent. Looking forward to more artwork sets from him and you, Cherie.
Thanks Virgil! This was such an exciting collaboration for me, and I am so happy with the results!
